Nexus provides physician clients a bi-directional interface to enable online test ordering with results being posted to their electronic patient record the same day. All clinical results are delivered immediately upon release from the Lab Information System (LIS) to the client’s EMR/EHR through CareEvolve. This streamlined process improves productivity by eliminating the need for phone calls and e-mail follow ups for results.

Clients have the flexibility to enter electronic orders into their own EMR system or use CareEvolve’s stand-alone option. A customized order entry screen simplifies admission by including favorite tests and most commonly used diagnosis. Real time connection with the Practice Management system eliminates duplicate entry of patient and insurance information. Clinical laboratory, anatomic pathology, imaging, and radiology reports can all be stored and viewed in CareEvolve eliminating chart pulls. Moreover, CareEvolve provides physicians the ability to customize their own alert ranges to highlight areas of concern and ensure timely, compassionate communication with their patients.

Our physician clients with more rigorous schedules and/or multiple clinic locations have the flexibility to connect remotely. For physicians who require test result delivery directly to them in the field, CareEvolve Mobile puts patient information at their fingertips on their smart devices. CareEvolve Mobile is supported on all iPhone, Droids, Blackberry, and other smart phones, as well as iPad and Android-based smart tablet devices. All clinical results and patient data reside on a secure hosting facility, and are available online 24x7 through the CareEvolve network.
